Jürgen Klopp sarcastically says "Real Madrid has been all talk and no action in constantly talking about wanting to hire him"..

Former Liverpool legend Jürgen Klopp, in an interview with AFP on Wednesday, reiterated his lack of interest in taking over as manager of Real Madrid, sarcastically commenting that the club has been all talk and no action in constantly talking about wanting to hire him.

In the interview, Klopp reiterated his mixed feelings about Xabi Alonso's dismissal, and sarcastically remarked that if talking could determine the next manager, Real Madrid could try to poach the legendary manager from their arch-rivals, Barcelona.

He said, "When I heard about Xabi Alonso's news, my feelings were mixed. Yes, I was surprised. No, I wasn't surprised at all."

"I don't know why this happened, but it's always been a special case, not a widespread problem, because what Real Madrid is seeing now is that choosing the next right manager isn't so easy."

Klopp then added sarcastically, "My advice is, if you're going to sack a manager, you'd better first figure out who you want to replace him. And that person should be realistic, not just talking big via someone. If they think they can get Pep Guardiola, they should go for it, but I think it's unlikely."

Klopp also reiterated that he has no intention of returning to coaching in the near future, saying that while he can't 'always say no' to the possibility, he is genuinely very satisfied with his current job.

He said, "Personally, I'm very calm and content right now."

"I don't want to go anywhere else. If Real Madrid were really interested in me, I wouldn't get excited; it's just media hype."

"Do I still want to coach? Right now, I'd say no, but I know it's impossible to ‘never say never'.

"I don't expect to change my mind, but I'm not sure either. However, at this moment, I'm very satisfied with my current situation."

"We're building a house now, and my wife wants a really big trophy room. There's also a small room, and I said, 'That's enough. We know how many trophies we have; we won't add any more.'"

"That might sound a bit arrogant, but I know I can coach a football team. However, I don't need to coach until the end of my life."

Reflecting on his coaching career, Klopp doesn't consider himself one of the world's best coaches. The former Mainz 05, Dortmund, and Liverpool legendary manager humbly said: 'I never considered myself a world-class coach because after I finished coaching, I still had many questions. I thought, 'How can I be a world-class coach with these questions?'"

"I never rewatch goal videos because I want to understand the reasons behind the results. I want to understand why things happened; the result is a result of performance. So we focus on improving performance, and the results naturally follow."

Speaking about his experience as Head of Global Soccer at the Red Bull Group, Klopp said: 'I wanted to try something different. Red Bull gave me an opportunity to find a role that we gradually defined together.'

'The way I interact with the coaches is by playing someone I've never been before. I often sit alone in my office.'

'Many people offer good advice and ideas, which is certainly good, but making the final decision isn't easy.'

'I want to be there for them when they feel lonely. I want to support them."

"I met many people I didn't know before. I attended many business meetings and learned many words I had never heard before."

"I had a very enjoyable time. Although only a year has passed, it feels like I've accumulated five years' worth of experience."

Finally, when asked how he felt about having to convey the news of his longtime friend, former RB Leipzig head coach Marco Rose's impending sacking last summer, Klopp jokingly said: "Coach gravedigger? That's a title I never wanted to have!"

It's worth mentioning that many people are completely unaware of Klopp's contributions as Red Bull's Head of Global Soccer. However, anyone who has followed RB Leipzig's performances this season should have noticed the outstanding performances of two wonderkids of African descent.

These two players are Johan Bakayoko and Yan Diomande, both signed to Leipzig after Klopp took the position.

Diomande's superb performances have attracted fierce transfer battle for him from every top club in Europe's Big Five leagues, while Johan Bakayoko is considered by many to possess traits reminiscent of Dani Olmo, Christopher Nkunku, Timo Werner, and Dominik Szoboszlai during their time at Leipzig.
